Lemonade is a very popular summertime drink which tastes delicious with tea.
3 cups water
6 tsp. Super Pekoe Black Tea or 6 pyramid tea bags
1 can (295mls) frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups cold water
2 cups ice cubes
Use white grape juice instead of white wine for a non-alcoholic version
2 tbsp. Pear Cream G&W Tea steeped in 1/2 cup hot water for 3 minutes.
Strain tea over 1/2 cup ice to cool.
Pour cooled tea into a pitcher and add 1 cup chilled grape juice and 2 cups of chilled wine or more grape juice if desired.
Add sliced fruit such as pears, peaches, apples, strawberries, grapes, etc.
Pour over ice in a glass or tumbler to serve.
Place TEA and Stevia leaf in a heatproof container or Smart Steeper. Add hot water and steep for a time appropriate to TEA of your choice. Fill a large 2 cup glass 2/3 full of ice. Strain TEA over ice until glass is 1/3 full. Slowly top up with sparkling water.
Making a tea concentrate and storing it in a mason jar in your fridge is a super simple way to make ice tea this summer. Steep 4 times the recommended amount of tea in the hot water. Strain into a mason jar and cool to room temperature. Store in the fridge and pour over ice whenever you want a refreshing drink. Then 3 cups of cold water.

- to make a stronger brew always use more tea and keep the same steeping time
- make ice cubes out of tea so you don’t dilute the flavour
- pour tea over ice in a glass instead of adding ice to the pitcher
- letting black & green tea cool completely before putting in the fridge may help prevent clouding
- mix rooibos tea and complementing fruit tea together to make your tea go farther
- use Rooibos extract powder to make instant ice tea.
Place 2 tsp. per cup of plain red rooibos tea in a heatproof container along with some fresh or dried mint leaves. Add some lemon or orange slices, raspberries or strawberries and some stevia leaves to sweeten. Pour boiling water into the container and steep till cool. Strain tea leaves and pour over ice or finish cooling in the fridge. Put the lemon slices back into the drink if desired.
Fruit & Rooibos teas are a favorite type of tea to drink iced. Use approximately 1/4 cup of tea per 6 cups of water. An easy method is to add tea to a heatproof pitcher, fill half with boiling water (stir in sweetener at this time or see our tips on “Ways to sweeten your tea” below) then let cool to room temperature. Top up the pitcher with cold water and place it in the fridge to finish chilling. Some favorite Rooibos teas our customers loved iced are Lemon Chiffon Rooibos, Peach Apricot, Blueberry, Raspberry, and Fruity Orange.

Suitable for all types of TEAS. The slow cold water steeping method extracts more natural sweetness and flavour from the TEA leaf. TEAS won’t go bitter because it is a gentler method of steeping which doesn’t draw out as much of the tannin from the TEA leaves.
