1 cup of milk of your choice – coconut, almond, cashew etc. 1 tsp. virgin coconut oil
1⁄2 tsp. organic turmeric powder
1 tbsp. of yogi chai or masala chai tea
1 pinch of ground black pepper
Use honey to taste if desired (this will depend on the sweetness of milk used)
Pour almond milk into a small saucepan and whisk in the oil, turmeric powder and pepper. Stir in the tea and bring the mixture to almost a boil; stirring often. Remove pan from heat and let tea infuse for 5 minutes. Strain mixture into a cup. Add honey at this point if desired.
Serves one.
