Fruit Crisp

A versatile fruit crisp that can be made using apples, peaches, pears etc. This recipe is quick & easy for one but could be easily made for more by increasing the ingredient amounts.

1 apple, pear or peach cored & thinly sliced
2 tbsp. rolled oats
1 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 tbsp. ground flax seed
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. Rooibos Chai Latte Mix or cinnamon

In a small mixing bowl combine oats, flour, flax seed, brown sugar and Rooibos Chai Latte Mix. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Place the apple slices in a small microwaveable bowl or large cup. Microwave on high for 45 sec. Sprinkle oat mixture on top and microwave 1 min. 30 sec. Stir and microwave 30 sec. more. Eliminate this last step if using peaches. Let sit approx. 10 min. to cool. Serve the crisp warm or at room temperature
