Instead of drinking a really thick smoothie why not pour it into a bowl, add some toppings and eat it like oatmeal. 1/2 frozen banana
1 tsp. matcha green tea powder
1 cup milk or non-dairy substitute 1 scoop your choice of protein
ground flaxseed, chia seeds, hemp hearts, raspberries or other fresh fruit, unsweetened shredded coconut, dried mulberries, chopped nuts, chopped dates, etc.
In a blender combine the avocado, banana, matcha, milk and protein powder and blend until smooth. Add ice, one cube at a time until the desired consistency is achieved. Pour into bowls and top with any of the suggested toppings or any other ones you might have on hand.
