Results in a slightly different flavour than the regular hot brew method. Cold-brewed tea is generally less bitter and is a great way to make green or black ice tea. You may need to increase the amount of loose tea used to get the same flavour. A bonus of the cold brew method is that it rarely clouds.
To make:
Add 5 – 7 tsp. of your favourite black or green tea to a 4 cup pitcher.
Add 1 cup of hot water, steep 2 min.
Then 3 cups of cold water.
Place in the fridge for 6-8 hours.
Strain leaves when serving or makes in our special ice tea jugs.
