Fruit Crisp Recipe

1 apple, pear or peach cored & thinly sliced

2 tbsp. rolled oats

1 tbsp. all purpose flour

1 tbsp. ground flax seed
1 tbsp. brown sugar

1 tbsp. butter

1/8 tsp. Rooibos Chai Latte Mix or cinnamon

A versatile fruit crisp that can be made using apples, peaches, pears etc. This recipe is quick & easy for one but could be easily made for more by increasing the ingredient amounts.

In a small mixing bowl combine oats, flour, flax seed, brown sugar and Rooibos Chai Latte Mix. Cut in the butter until crumbly.
Place the apple slices in a small microwaveable bowl or large cup.

Microwave on high for 45 sec.
Sprinkle oat mixture on top and microwave 1 min. 30 sec. Stir and
microwave 30 sec. more. Eliminate this last step if using peaches.
Let sit approx. 10 min. to cool.

Serve the crisp warm or at room temperature with warmed caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream if desired.
