Distinctly tea Matcha Morning Bliss Pancakes with Fresh Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • For Pancakes:
  • For Topping:
    • Fresh raspberries or sliced strawberries
    • Maple syrup
    • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and Matcha powder.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (a few lumps are okay).
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, topped with fresh strawberries, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
