Persian Spice Chai Tea – Sku 4944

Not often I write about flavoured teas for two reasons, one I like unflavoured orthodox teas best and two flavoured teas are more subjective in nature regarding their tastes. Guess I need to get past this hangup and give you my perspective on some of our most popular flavoured tea blends. This one caught my attention from a customer a while back when she extolled its’ taste virtues. Upon trying Persian Spice Chai for myself I can say it pleasantly surprised me for its pleasing and satisfying taste. Persian Spice has an exotic spice taste and is wonderfully chock full of tea and spicy ingredients. The rose petals add elegance and a subtle flavour making this tea most enjoyable. The ingredients are: black tea, cinnamon, ginger bits, cardamom, cloves, flavour, black pepper, rose petals, vanilla bits, safflower. It looks pretty and is equally tasty to boot. The taste is very chai like and the rose petals add a pleasant and rewarding taste to this blend.

When steeping this tea, I recommend making it normally with 2.5 grams per 8 ounce cup, especially on the first cup. Best to not make too strong a cup as it may most likely turn off. Bring water to the boil, 212F. and steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Please stay with your cup and make certain it is steeped properly. Way too many cups of tea are ruined by over-steeping and not paying careful attention to the steeping parameters.
