Infusing Vinegar With Tea

One can infuse vinegar with tea to make delicious salad dressings. Warm up 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar just until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in 2 Tbsp. of tea of your choice. Steep until cool. Strain out the tea and whisk in the remaining ingredients in your salad dressing recipe. Good quality plain teas like Fog Mountain Green or an Oolong Tea will add great flavour.

Peter’s Picks – Green & White Tea

The Green & White Teas we carry in the store have a history dating back to 2006. The addition of White tea to the Green Tea created a blend that would help the steeping time and temperature hold up better for those ‘mistakes’ we all make when steeping a cup of tea - water too hot, steeping time to long, too much tea etc.
