4 cups water
2 cups mango nectar
2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (6-8 lemons) 2 cups ice cubes
Chai syrup:
1 cup water
6 tsp. loose chai TEA
1 cup granulated natural sugar
In a small saucepan bring water to a boil; add TEA. Remove from heat and steep for 10 minutes. Strain TEA into another pot. Add the natural sugar and bring back to a boil; stirring until the sugar is dissolved about 1 minute.
Let cool.
To make TEA lemonade:
In a pitcher, stir together chai syrup, water, mango nectar, lemon juice, and ice.
(Make-ahead – Cover and refrigerate for up to 7 days) Makes 12 cups.
Add a slice of lime and serve.
Adult version –add a splash of rum or vodka.
