SMOKEY TACO SEASONING MIX:
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. Lapsang Souchong Black TEA
Grind TEA in spice grinder until finely ground and mix into all the other ingredients.
Blend 1 tbsp. of Smokey Spice Taco mix with 8 oz. of cream cheese and 1 cup of sour cream. Let sit 30 min. for flavours to develop. Spread a layer of cream cheese mixture on a plate. Top with salsa and then shredded cheese. Serve with taco chips.
Meat Tacos: Use approx. 2 tbsp. per 1 lb. of meat.
Lapsang Souchong or Smoked Tea
Not for the faint of heart this Lapsang Souchong. A tea with full-bodied, smoky flavour and a reddish liquor. Great on a cold damp winter’s night.
