Irish Matcha Smoothie


  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats (optional, for added texture and fiber)
  • Handful of spinach leaves (optional, for extra greens)
  • Ice cubes


  1. In a blender, combine the sliced banana, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, matcha powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, rolled oats (if using), and spinach leaves (if using).
  2. Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if necessary.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
